My name is Tom K and I’m a freshman here at my high school. And I’m the class of 2014. I am glad to be out of middle school and into high school. I hope to be valedictorian at the end of my senior year. I also hope to get a job as soon as possible.
My academic goals for this year are to get a least a b in English. Sometime in high school I want to take an AP class like calculus. In biology for this year I want to learn more about life and I also want to dissect something. F.I.R.E is something that is okay but I want to get out of it. That will give me more time for lunch, so I want to keep a 3.5 by next semester to get out of fire. In math I want hope that geometry though out the year will be easy for me so I won’t have any trouble learning new things. In geography I want to be able to know more country and be able to point them out on a map. And I hope to get good scores on the geography quizzes.
For my physical goals I want to get in good shape at the YMCA. But I don’t want to do P.E. when I’m a junior. So I want to work really hard my first two years at the YMCA. When I finish P.E. at the Y I don’t want to just stop going all together. I hope that I can pull myself out of the house and go over to the Y to work out even though I don’t have it as a class. I also want to take swimming at the YMCA and become a better and stronger swimmer.

I hope that I spend more time with my friends and go airsofting. And also go skateboarding and swimming in my friends pool. One of my social goals is to meet new friends but also keep the ones I have right now. There were also friends at middle school that went to different high schools and I am planning to hang out with them again. During my time here in high school I hope to become friends with many people. Also I want to play more with my friends on the internet.
I like to work on cars and build different things. I have built a table for my mom and I plan to build much more furniture. For my car goals I want to do before I get my license is to buy a 1969 or 1970 nova and work on it with my dad. I also want to work on my aunt’s mustang and get her car running by the end of this school year. For my building goals I am going to build a dog house for my two dogs.
I hope that all my goals for this year and my future goals get completed. I think this is an awesome school and that my four years here will be better than middle school. I wish future freshman good luck and hope they have a great high school experience.
